I led a multidisciplinary team to fix this. We redesigned forms, enhanced address datasets to support more digital applications, and updated the website.

The story that made me start Ignite UX
Since 2013, I’ve crafted responsive web apps using UX-research to align strategic decisions with customer needs. After streamlining agile workflows in interdisciplinary teams, I joined the municipality of Leiden in 2023 as a service designer - which expanded my focus to a deliver a holistic perspective beyond touchpoints, long-term impact and inclusive design.

Driven by the belief that design shapes the world where my daughters will grow up in, I looked to increase my impact. I found inspiration in startups and established organizations tackling real-world challenges on one of the sustainable development goals. I explored how I could ignite these ambitious and passionate teams in their journey to make the world a better place.

The result of that is Ignite-UX. Ignite-UX is supporting organizations dedicated to making a positive impact in creating intuitive products and services – and crafting a winning product development strategy. We do this through lectures, coaching, talks and – of course – project work in UX-research, -design and -strategy.
